Bobcat

All boys complete the requirements for Bobcat, whether they enter cub scouts as a Tiger Cub or when they are older

Tiger Cubs

A school-year program for first-grade (6 years-old) boys and their adult partners that stresses simplicity, shared leadership, learning about the community, and family understanding.  Each boy/adult team meets for family activities, then once or twice a month all the teams meet for Tiger Cub group activities. During the school year, the boys work toward completion of requirements.  They will receive monthly recognition at the pack meetings for their accomplishments.  They receive the Tiger Cub Patch at the end of the program as they prepare to advance to the level of Wolf Scout.

Wolf Scout

Boys that are in second grade are eligible to be a Wolf scout.  Wolves meet weekly for age specific activities in small groups (8 or less boys per den) under the direct supervision of Den leaders.  Monthly pack meetings bring dens and families together for recognition and fun.  Cub Scouts work on Wolf requirements with their den and families.  Emphasis is on doing one's best, cooperation, and teamwork.  The Wolf Scout work toward completion of requirements for the Wolf Badge during the year.  Those cub scouts that complete the requirements for Wolf will receive their Wolf Badge at the completion of the program as they prepare to advance to the level of Bear Scout.

Bear

Boys are in the 3rd Grade.  Bears meet weekly for age specific activities in small groups (8 or less boys per den) under the direct supervision of Den leaders. Monthly pack meetings bring dens and families together for recognition and fun.  Cub Scouts work on Bear requirements with their den and families.  Emphasis is on doing one's best, cooperation, and teamwork.  The Bear Scout work toward completion of requirements for the Bear Badge during the year.  Those cub scouts that complete the requirements for Bear will receive their Bear Badge at the program as they prepare to advance to the level of Webelo Scout

Webelos

Boys in the 4th and 5th grade.  Webelos is a two-year program.  Webelos meet weekly for age specific activities in small groups (8 or less boys per den) under the direct supervision of Den leaders. Monthly pack meetings bring dens and families together for recognition and fun.  Cub Scouts work on Webelos requirements with their den and families.  Emphasis is on doing one's best, cooperation, and teamwork.  The Webelos Scout work toward completion of requirements for the Webelos Badge during the two-year program.  Toward the end of the second year, those cub scouts that complete the requirements for Webelo will receive their Webelo Badge and will participate in the Arrow of Light ceremony at the Blue & Gold dinner in February as they prepare to advance as Boy Scouts into Boys Scout Troop 15 at St. Matthew's.
